Larkspur, Colorado (10/10 - 10/11/20) Blog post 125
After spending 3 days in Wyoming, we traveled back to Larkspur, Colorado. We are staying at the huge Jellystone RV park. We arrived to learn that I had made the reservation with the wrong dates- 3 days off. The staff was so nice and helpful with accommodating us 3 days early. Because of my error, we ended up with a back in rather than a pull thru. We don't mind backin's, we just prefer pull thru's with our 41.3ft 5th wheel.
The Jellystone park is a very nice, huge park. It is geared more for families. When you first pull up, it feels like you are driving to the entrance of an amusement park. They have 3 lanes to check in. You pull up to the booth, where a person checks you in, and then a staffer appears in a golf cart to escort you to your site, which is absolutely necessary because of the size of this park. They have a huge bounce pad, water park, pool, and more. Many of the amenities were closed due to covid, but the pool was open as well as the bounce pad.
What entertained us, was all the deer that we spotted on bike, from our windows, or from our bike cams turned deer cam. We also watched the many trains that passed by multiple times a day.
