After leaving Garden City, Utah, we headed down Hwy 89 towards Thayne, WY.  We stopped for a bathroom break at the Salt River Pass and learned of the Lander cut-off   STAR VALLEY RANCH RV PARK- $47/Nt FHU 50 AMP Pullthru-  This is a very huge park and golf course, nestled between 3 mountains, still with a bit of snow. We were assigned two back-in sites due to our length. The site was perfect for us and we had the whole lane to ourselves.  Just a bit after we arrived, the clouds  started becoming darker, followed by snow flurry’s. By the next morning we had awoken to snow on the mountains around us, but within 4 hours, the snow had almost all melted. THE NEXT MORNING AFTER IT SNOWED AND JUST LIKE THAT IT WAS GONE

We left Green River, Wyoming and headed back into Utah to get our 2nd Covid Vaccine.  We stayed at the  KOA Bear Lake/ Marina Side in Garden City, Utah. This place is a gem. It sits across Main Street from the Bear Lake. This KOA has sites that are called Super-sites. They are so big. Some have wide pullthru’s with huge patios, private jacuzzi’s, some have a really nice area for a tent. One site has its very own private fences in yard (it is the one with the super site yellow sign on one side, and in another picture the grand design is on the left and the fenced yard is on the right. This KOA also rents all kinds of bikes to ride along the 5 mile bike path in Garden City. They also have mini golf, jump pad and many other attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Even the dog areas are nice with grass, shade, and an obstacle course. And of course they have many, many cabins to rent. I plan on splurging next time to get one of their beautiful Supersites.  BEAR LAKE/GARDEN CITY KOA-$56/n
